We Become Form Again
This work was inspired by the familiar illustration of human evolution.
However, it approaches the idea from the opposite direction. A candle illuminates its surroundings while slowly consuming itself. In much the same way, human beings leave an impact on others throughout their lives, yet inevitably move toward an end.
This piece seeks to capture the quiet and natural state of a being gradually wearing away over time.

Animal Series
The heart each animal carefully carries represents the emotional wounds and sense of emptiness that many people conceal in modern life.
Yet the small flame burning steadily above each character’s head symbolizes the warmth that remains deep within—the inner strength that allows us to heal ourselves.
Through the Animal Series, artist soorae asks:
“What shape is your heart tied into, and what wounds does it carry?”
It is my hope that the gentle warmth of the candlelight embodied in these carefully crafted art toys will soften and melt even the hearts that have grown hardened over time.
